We are pleased to stock this lovely soft 4 ply British wool, spun from the fleeces of sheep raised here in the UK.  This 4 ply yarn is perfect for sock making or garments of this weight.  There are many free patterns on the West Yorkshire Spinners site to download or if you would like us to send you a free printed copy of the one shown, just drop a note to us at the time of ordering. 

There are many delicious colours to choose from, here we have Holly Berry in traditional colours of red, greens and white.  You will see on the images the ball, the yarn and the yarn knitted.

Weight of ball - 100g

Fibre content - 75% British Wool (of which 35% is Blue Faced Leicester) 25% nylon.

400 metres (375 yards) approx

Row tension per 10cm square  = 36 rows, 28 stitches

Needle size 3.25mm

 Machine wash at 30°c, do not spin or tumble dry. Iron on a low heat.
