A great introduction into the sewing world, these little Anchor 1st Kits contain everything you need to make the picture shown and in addition have a little cardboard frame to finish and display the product.  These kits  are perfect for beginners, however they do contain a needle so we would think they are suitable for around children 6 and upwards with full supervision.   The threads for long stitch and tapestry are 100% wool, the threads for counted cross stitch and embroidery are 100% cotton.  The fabric/aida for all kits is 100% cotton
