Cumbria Alpaca with Blue Faced Leicester Sock Wool

This Cumbria’  is blended especially for Townend Yarns using the finest British Alpaca (47%) and Blue Faced Leicester Wool (43%) combined with 10% nylon for strenght and durabililty.  This lovely soft wool is sold in 100g hanks and measures approximately 400 metres. Available in various colours, there are also Townend Yarns patterns too pictured that can be purchased from our knitting/crotchet pattern section.  In most cases one hank will knit one pair of socks (depending on pattern of course).

Hand wash, do not tumble dry.  Dry flat away from heat.   The yarn has been washed, but some surface residue dye may come out in the first wash, particularly with the deeper colours.
