3D Cross Stitch Victorian Mansion Sewing Box and Accessories Kits by Meg Evershed

Victorian Mansion Town House

We are very pleased to stock these beautiful quality 3D Cross stitch kits by Meg Evershed. Here we have a beautifully designed replica of a Victorian style Mansion Town House which in fact is a sewing box which measures approximately 19cm high x 19.5cm wide x 11cm deep once finished.  

The house has architectural features worked onto the fabric with flowers and foliage.  The roof lift off to reveal a tray which can be removed to reveal another section beneath.  The bases of the tray and box are also worked with stitches to resemble a Victorian tiled floor.  Inside the roof void is an area to hold your embroidery silks and notions/tools.  This beautiful, useful sewing box would be wonderful as a heirloom to  pass down to the next generation.

Victorian Sewing Accessories

Along with the mansion house, Meg has also designed some beautiful accessories to go in this lovely sewing box, or indeed to just have on their own.  Each one features the tile pattern to match the house.  We have:-

Victorian Tile Needle Case - A pretty little "book" style case with the cover worked in the tile pattern.  Once complete it measures approximately 8.6cm high and has a ribbon to mark your page. 

Victorian Tile Bits and Bead Tray - As it says, this lovely little tray holds all the bits you may wish to keep safe such little pieces of thread, beads, buttons, etc.  You could use this in many rooms in the house too.  Once complete it measures approximately 3cm high x 9cms square. 

Victorian Tile Scissor Case - I often used to wonder why people used a scissor case, but after constantly misplacing my own (one pair I have never found), I totally understand why.  Again the pattern matches the other items in this collection and the case has a long ribbon so you can hang it around your neck whilst working, never to loose the scissors again! The ribbon is attached with gold coloured lily cup beads and the case once complete measures approximately 10.5cm long x 6.5cm wide.  (scissors not included in this kit).

Victorian Tile Pincushion - (pins not included) The last of this collection is a lovely 5.3cm square pincushion which approximately 3cm in height.  The same beautiful Victorian style pattern features on this pin cushion and looks lovely with the other accessories.

The mansion house and accessories  can all be purchased separately but if you wish to buy them all, we are happy to offer you a discount.

Each kit includes aida, wadding, plastic canvas, stranded cotton, needle, (ribbon & beads for scissor case only), chart and full instructions.  In addition the house also includes lining fabric and felt.
